Housing Problem

Housing problems are becoming more and more apparent with the increase of China's population, people complain that their houses are too small to live in, and we can see in some pool families, six or seven family members live in one room. Therefore, the living conditions can't meet their-needs.
There are a lots of difficulties in solving housing problems. First, it's impossible to put all the space into building houses. Secondly, the population of China increases year by year and with the improvement of our living standard, we need more room to relax ourselves in.
Various solutions have been put forwvard. I think the most important and efficient way is to control the population. Also, we can build more high buildings to provide more living space. I believe that the housing problems will be solved.

Teenasens Smoke

It is reported that many teenage smokers has been on the rise in recent years, which has caused great concern among people in ail walks or life. There are several reasons that account for this fact, but the following three may be the main ones.
First, it is easy for teenagers to get cigarettes. Cigarettes are available almost everywhere. Today's teens have more spare money, which comes from the improved living standard of their parents. They can buy what they want, includingcigarettes. Second, teenagers smoke because their adolescent years are filled with psychological problems. One of these problems, for example, is establishing a sense of identity. The teen years are the time when young people want to be more independent from their parents and form their ownvalues. The enormous mental pressures of these years can make some people turn to smoking. A final, and perhaps most important, reason is peer pressure to conform. Teens often become very close to special friends, for one thing, and they will share a friend's interest, even if one of these is smoking. Teenagers also attend parties and other social gatherings where it is all important to be one of the crowd, to be “cool.” Even the most mature teenager might be tempted to smoke than to risk being an outcast. So cigarettes are a major problem facing teenagers .

dream

I want to be a teacher while I listen to my teacher carefully. I think I can be a teacher when I grow up. I can help many students learn things well. I can play with my students, too. So we are good friends. I want to be a doctor when I see many doctors save their patients. To be a doctor is really great. I think I can be a doctor when I grow up. Then I can help many people out of danger. I will be the happiest girl in the world. I want to be a reporter when I watch TV every evening. We can get lots of important information from them. They make the world smaller and also make us happy. I would like to be a reporter when I grow up. And I can learn a lot about China and the other countries around the world. I can meet many superstars as well. I have lots of dreams. I think my dreams can come true one day, because there’s an old saying “where there is a will, there is a way.”

Types of Government Grants

A large mount of funds are given by the administration every year. These funds are divided into several types bestowed to individuals worthy of such. Everyone may submit an application as long as they pass the criteria. You should research for the criteria needed essential for the funds.
You must acknowledge every kind of the funds if you wanna get a part for free. A considerable amount of money is not used each year since individuals do not know of these funds. The thing needed to accomplish is to check out the requirements as well as check if you meet the criteria and then submit an application to possible funds that you may obtain.
All you need to do is mail your application, and if approved, cash the cheque when it arrives. Take advantage of Small Business Finance Centre’s resources to help small business people like you identify, apply, and receive government grants, loans, and other forms of financial assistance. We provide information on government small business programs, offer products to help you collect government grants and loans. You will also find a list of sample grant recipients, and a Canadian grants FAQ on this web site.
Methodical study and expansion is the subsequent one to obtain federal funds. Such studies take out much of your hours as well as cash. A lot of cash is used up for materials in carrying out examinations. The cash can arrive from federal funds. The reason behind allocation of funds is the administration desires the nation to develop in more great ways.
If you intend of obtaining Healthcare and Housing Grants for Women, check with a number of government groups which have their funds dedicated to the underprivileged women who wish to but the home. Private organizations can also be looked for. You need to have talked to everyone you can, so that you can apply for any number of grants for ensuring that you are utterly successful in terms of having the needed funding found for having afforded your own home in such a costly market of real estate.
Funds for education are also part of the federal allocation. More and more University learners are having difficulty entering school due to lack of cash. Two types that learners can choose from is one, funds from the administration which is without charge or two, finances which needs repayment. It would be of good benefit for a learner to submit an application for both of these types.
Loans, especially if paid on time, are known to build up your credit score, which could ensure a stable financial future for you. This is especially true if you might need a huge amount of the money in the future. You could also take out loans time and time again with ease if you are known to have a good credit score. Meanwhile, with Canadian government grants, there are different types to be chosen from, and this could be pretty daunting and confusing. Also, grants could just be a one time thing, so this does not mean anything for your future. You might get free money now, but your credit history won’t be firmed up by an amount that will not last you a lifetime.
Government grants are rarely given out to private institutions or groups such as corporations. In most cases, private charities, businesses, etc. are responsible for housing or business grants. Even still, the government is helping out thousands like you right now by giving out grants that can be used for college or other personal financial obligations.

Remind of Old Problem, Global Warming

The problem of global warming has been an old issue for a very long time. It seams that discussion isn’t needed any more. The true believer is right and if you do not agree with him/her, you are dead wrong. The fact is the true believer is not satisfied just with the knowledge that they are right. They need you to acknowledge that they are right as well. When you form a judgment, you put a person at the mercy of that judgment- from yourself.
Psychologists can affirm behaviorial habits and models, but how much of what people believe today about global warming, is in fact true? In what some scientists see as another alarming consequence of global warming, thousands of Pacific walruses above the Arctic Circle were killed in stampedes earlier this year after the disappearance of sea ice caused them to crowd onto the shoreline in extraordinary numbers.
Today the violent true believer mentality can be seen in the extreme elements of Islam. The true believer mentality also exists in less dramatic and more subtle ways throughout our society. It can be seen in ethnic, racial or gender discrimination. It can be seen in religious intolerance. Unfortunately, it was also be seen in the United Nations sponsored climate change event in Bali in December 2007. In extreme and violent terms we have seen this behavior manifest itself throughout history.
The results of global warming cannot be calculated in today’s world. It estimates that as early as the year 2020 between 75 and 250 million people in Africa will suffer water shortages. It goes on to state that residents of Asia’s largest cities will be at great risk of river and coastal flooding. Europeans can expect extensive species loss.
There is no discussion. There is no dissent. All knowledgeable people now have been converted to this crusade. The reality, of course, is that global warming consensus is not the case in the scientific community. Indeed for the Nobel winning United Nations panel (IPCC) and Nobel Prize winner Al Gore, fundamental problems with their global warming argument have already started to appear.

Students’ Feedback in Music Teaching

Music is a lesson full of appreciation and creation. But it cannot be reached on one’s own.Primarily, a music teacher’s task lies in the idea of effective and creative communication. Thus, credibility and reliability have always been an issue to academic institutions, their teaching and non-teaching personnel and even the student body.
All resources and measures would be prepared for one purpose: interests. Music teachers simultaneously motivate, inspire, and support their students through innovative music teachers resources, whether they are from experiences of other teaching individuals, academes or from the internet. As you become good influences and examples to them, they not just tend to love music as one of their subjects but they also have come to love you as their mentors and icons.
There is a series of different feedbacks, compliments and even suggestions of the students for reference from the experience of educators in teaching:
Different attitudes depend on different individuals about one thing. Such music teachers resources allow them to learn about other aspects of music which are not covered in a specific course outline, syllabus or private music lessons.
Cooperative learning has played a vital role in this manner since they are tasked to work collaboratively with their co-students and meet a common set of objectives because students are able to learn music as well as the significance of academic freedom and independence.
The students are able to cultivate their interest in music and realize their potentials through unique and creative activities regarding their music class and its programs.
Creative activities, which seem unusual and innovative, have brought up fun and excitement among students – making them more interested, hooked and eager to learn new things and eventually apply them in real life.
Music teachers are able to encourage and give them such opportunity and exposure that they truly need to create and perform music creatively and independently yet effectively and promptly.
The enhanced program for music teaching has been remarked by the students as a way to boost self-confidence, establish camaraderie among classmates, and experience the fun of learning music – all at the same time.
It really pays to regenerate more teaching resources and strategies that are more appealing to the kind of students we have in today’s generation. Maximizing resources and efforts, music teachers would then realize that music education could be the most rewarding experience.

Benefits of Private Education

Everyone has the right to go to school, which is an important rule recorded in Constitution. But it isnt ruled that we must put our child to a public school. So we choose a private school with better education if we are capable to afford the tuition. The reason of the decision we make may be various, but they could be categorized to one: the Benefits of Private Education
Private schools benefit students by fostering academic excellence and high achievement, educating the whole child within a values-based setting, and preparing youngsters for success in life. If you want a caring, challenging, nurturing, safe and secure environment for your child–a place where he/she can learn and succeed–consider a private school.
Students who are enrolled in a private school score higher on standardized tests and college entrance exams than those who complete a public school education. By enrolling your child in a private prep school, you also increase the likelihood that he will attend college after graduation. This statistic proves true even for students who only complete eighth grade in a prep school, and then complete the remainder of their education in a public school, so the influence of the private school setting begins at an early age.
It is unnecessory to emphsize the high achievements of the students who graduated from a private school. Statistics from the College Board and NCES show that for high school seniors, 24.2 percent of private school students took AP exams in 1998, while 9.4 percent of public school students did so. Private schools, which account for only 7.5 percent of all high school students, produced 20 percent of 12th graders who took AP exams in 1998 and 22 percent of those who scored high enough to have the advanced courses count for college credit.
An educated individual should have the sense of resiponsibility of country and society. Its people will be more conscious of cause and effect, and thus more socially aware, and they will take greater responsibility for the well-being of others and the preservation of their country’s environment and natural resources. An educated society promotes a sense of personal and national identity that results in greater social stability, a stronger sense of community, and a willingness to sacrifice in times of necessity. Positive cultural values enrich any society, and an educated society helps to perpetuate such values by developing students’ historical understanding and communicating the morals and ethics that the society chooses to promote.
Private schools often put a major emphasis on personal values. Private schools often have honor codes and stricter behavioral standards that help students develop into mature adults. Many private schools require that their students complete a mandatory number of community service hours. This not only provides the obvious benefit of instilling a sense of respect for the community and the importance of making a contribution to society, but it also happens to be something colleges especially favor. Students may also find possible career options while fulfilling this service requirement such as political involvement to aid the community or counseling for endangered teens.
There are enormous priorities of a private school in benefit, such as free choices, lowering the minority gap, More Parental Involvement, etc..
There is no question that private education represents a significant investment on the part of the parents, but with these benefits, it is an investment that is definitely worth making. After all, your child is depending on you to ensure that he has the best possible education, and you can provide this from the first day he steps foot in school by choosing a Toronto independent school.

Food Supply in Crisis

Most animals cannot live without fundamental food to obtain. It is obviously an primary problem we must cope in any case, particularly in sudden disasters.
Apparently, in the latest years, this world has been struck by one type of disaster after another in many places, with pounding severity.
Earthquake and hurricane, with flood may happen subsequently, are the most powerful disasters on the earth. Enormous people lose their homes when those disasters fall. They have to find something to eat and sleep in the wild. However, they may get nothing in nowdays when we are customed to comfortable living conditions. And what’s more important is all they gather from wild may be poisonous.
Eating wild fruits is something those who grew up in the farms did and are still doing not because of hunger but because it is a children fun activity.
Never in those days when I was young did I see adults eating wild fruits, in any case, we ate them in hiding to prevent thorough beatings. But now they have to eat to prevent hunger beatings.
What they need right now is an urgent help with food donations they can eat but this will definitely not be the end of their hunger, if a long-term solution will not be found by the government.
Take the Wenchuan Earthquake for example, which happened in Sichuan Province, China. The refugees fell into starvation again after the first batch of food being eaten out. They have to buy water and biscuits by high price. There are several store which had been robbed by survivors. This is not the first time that people from these very arid and underdeveloped parts of the country have gone for a long time without food and water.
It is times like these that many of us wish such people could be given the unconditional attention they have not benefited from for many years back.
They are not only suffering from food shortage but other important social amenities are both few and distant.
Very critical decisions now need to be made concerning how such a problem alone can be met in the future without having to depend on other well wishers to donate maize.
Rains and storms come back again in summer. The flood would run anywhere they can. The local people would suffer starvation and losing home when they fall. It time for them to urge the local governments to prepare for a rainy season because it would be upsetting to loose more lives through hunger.
Tribute also goes to the people of this entire nation for contributing their donations in form of food, prayers, or in whichever way, because it shows that they care for each other.

Black in white? Minority in majority!

Barack Obama has won the White House in Washington D.C., but still “some” white people would make other people feel uncomfortable when they outnumber them.
A young black boy lives in New Hampshire…he doesn’t associate with that many people and when he does it is normally with a white race because that is what he is used to. Although he knows race has nothing to do with anything well that’s what he has been convincing himself and other people for a while who seem ignorant. But he has been feeling down and a bit depressed lately. He sometimes forgot he is the only “black” person in the room until someone rudely brings it up.
This phenomenon coexists not only in personal life of new born, but turns up everyday also in movies produced by Hollywood.
Anyone else notice that Black guys always die in movies, even if they’re the good guy, although the industry is also changing where we don’t see it nearly as much! This would be interesting. All the movies that we see this happening take down names of the writers and producers and see if there is any connection with each other.
It is yet make some people awkward even it come across several decades later from when Martin Luther King made the famous address.
That black boy can’t help but think maybe he would have been better off growing up near my own race…maybe he would be more proud of myself. He hangs around so many people opposed to my race he feels so different.
Maybe that’s a similar story happens everyday and everywhere. Anyone goes into a house where sits a group of people unfamiliar, he would be uncomfortable yet. And any minority in majority in the world would probably think so.
You need to find a social group of your own peers, so that you can feel welcomed and comfortable- otherwise you will be a constant target. that is what hateful people do. You will soon get over it, but you have to start becoming more in tuned to your own ethnicity.
And maybe after enormous education, everywhere could be conscience and friendship.

When Japan’s fleets went for whaling…

Japan’s whaling fleet has set sail for Antarctic waters where it will make its biggest catch in 20 years.
The boat might kill world’s only white whale as Japan’s whaling fleet prepares to embark on its annual hunt in the Southern Ocean.
The Institute for Cetacean Research, which conducts Japan’s whaling programme, and Kyodo Senpaku, which operates the whaling fleet, this week announced the closure of the whaling industry’s flagship ‘Yushin’ whale meat shop and restaurant in Asakusa, Tokyo due to ongoing financial problems.
The shop, an iconic symbol of whaling in Japan, will close its doors in 2010. That’s the same year that the Jarpa II research programme — under which whales are killed in the guise of “scientific reserach” will be reviewed.
Given the air of scandal, it’s not surprising that the whalers may also be cancelling their traditional departure party. We received reports of the potential cancellation of the traditional high-profile ceremony in the whaling fleet’s home port of Shimonoseki, which marks the departure of the whalers for the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. The fleet is expected to depart later this week, from another port, where it will be seen off only by families of crew members and officials from the whaling operation.
Greenpeace’s campaign to end whaling in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary has increasingly focused on the authorities in Japan, where 71 percent of the public do not support Japan’s whaling programme. As a result of the Greenpeace investigation into embezzlement of whale meat from the factory ship Nisshin Maru, Japanese authorities mounted a politically motivated prosecution of two Greenpeace activists.
“The extreme reaction by the authorities shows Greenpeace’s work in Japan has put the whaling establishment under pressure” said Jun Hoshikawa, Executive Director of Greenpeace Japan. “The whale meat market has clearly collapsed and is unprofitable, and the stigma of scandal and corruption has made it an unattractive and less lucrative industry to work for. The whaling industry’s days are numbered, and it’s time for the Japanese taxpayer to demand the government stops subsidising this bankrupt programme.”
The Antarctic and Pacific programmes run at different times of the year, towards providing a constant supply of whale meat.
The plans have created a flurry of activity in Australia and New Zealand, countries which were once highly active in the whaling industry but where hunting now provokes outrage, some of it connected to the burgeoning whale watching industry.
Some people are calling on conservation minded governments to make the highest level representations from heads of state to the Prime Minister of Japan. “We want them to urge him to address the burgeoning commercial hunts that Japan is conducting under the guise of scientific whaling.”
There has been talk in Australian government circles of denying Japanese fishing vessels access to Australian ports or of taking legal action; but environment minister Ian Campbell appeared to rule out punitive measures.
“My strong view is that the actions that Australia is taking have the best chance of leading to a cessation of whaling altogether,” he told The Age.
The reality is that on many other issues, Australia, New Zealand and Japan are closely allied, and whaling concerns are unlikely to figure as highly on the diplomatic agenda as security or trade.
Though Japan’s hunting causes widespread concern in western countries, it is supported by a number of other governments; and as yet, the anti-hunt bloc does not have a mechanism through which it can force Japan to scale back or abandon its whaling operation.
